Membership


The County Welfare Directors Association membership consists of Executive Members and Active Members. Executive Members included the leader of each California county human service department. Some counties, where the social service functions are divided among several departments, may have more than one executive member. The Executive Members meet regularly as the Board of Directors for the association. Active Members include county staff assigned by Executive members to represent their counties on association committees, task forces, work groups, or other activities.
