 Deficit Reduction Act of 2005
Medicaid Citizenship and Identity Verification Requirements

The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, passed into law in January 2006, sets forth new requirements for citizens to receive Medicaid benefits. This page is intended to serve as a resource for information regarding this new requirement.

  County Resource Library

A number of individual counties and CWDA regional groups are developing materials that other counties can use to implement these new requirements. We will add new documents regularly as we receive them so check back often! Many thanks to everyone who has sent documents to be shared. [07/23/07]
