COVID-19 STATEMENT: In this unprecedented and unpredictable situation, we are continuing to monitor the status and safety of large group gatherings and the direction from federal, state, and local officials. We are actively working on a plan to allow the safest way for our presenters, attendees, and sponsors to be actively engaged while maintaining the health and safety of all. We will keep you posted as this plan develops, and no later than 30 days prior we will provide a thorough outline of precautionary steps that all venues and service providers will have in place for our event.
CWDA – the County Welfare Directors Association of California is pleased to host its 2021 Annual Conference, October 13-15 at the Monterey Conference Center. The conference this year will be held as a hybrid event. With taking into account the safety of our attendees, sponsors, and staff, we wanted to create an opportunity for attendees to engage however best suits their needs by offering both an on-site and online experience.
This educational and highly regarded event has historically attracted more than 1,100 people eager to share best practices and policies in human services. The conference is a platform to learn about the latest in technology, service delivery, workplace efficiency, adapting to pandemic, equity and inclusion in leadership, and disaster-related response, and to further the important work of improving the wellbeing of children, families, aging adults, and individuals across California.
