Brenda Meza comes to CWDA with over seven years of experience supporting public health programs and government operations, with a strong commitment to community-centered service and collaboration.

Prior to joining CWDA, Brenda served as a Program Manager at the California Department of Public Health, leading statewide vaccination efforts and working closely with local partners across California. She previously supported disease surveillance systems, training programs, and COVID-19 response initiatives with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and began her career in community engagement and administrative support roles in Los Angeles.

Brenda holds a Master of Public Policy and a Certificate in City and County Management from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College.
