CalFresh Payment Accuracy Rate Best Practices Webinar

Training

The CalFresh error rate is an important performance measurement in the quality control process for the program. Three counties shared best practices for lowering error rates in this webinar from July 2015.

California’s (active) error rate had been trending downward through FFY 2013, but preliminary data for FFY 2014 suggests an increase of more than two percentage points, and appears to be continuing on an upward trend. Among the topic covered in this webinar: a review of “VUR – Verified Upon Receipt,” rebuttals and arbitration, and what FNS is looking for with respect to the FNS 310.
