Director of Information Technology Policy
Christiana Smith joined CWDA as the Information Technology Associate in 2014, and was promoted to Director of Information Technology Policy in January 2019. Christiana works with the state, counties, and automation projects to ensure counties’ needs are represented in developing and maintaining systems that support the work of county human services staff.
Prior to joining CWDA, she served as deputy director of the employment and eligibility services division for Solano County Department of Health and Social Services, and as an employment and transitional services division manager/workforce investment board director for the Yolo County Department of Employment and Social Services. Christiana holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
