Nestor Lopez
Deputy Director – Aging, Disability, and Older Adult Services
Nestor joined CWDA in 2022 as the Deputy Director of Aging, Disability, and Older Adult Services specializing in the program areas of In-Home Supportive Services and Adult Protective Services.
Prior to working at CWDA, Nestor served as a Legislative Aide for Assemblyman Ken Cooley where he staffed a variety of policy areas including Human Services, Aging and Long-Term Care and Child Welfare. Other issue areas included Privacy and Consumer Protection, Insurance, Governmental Organization, and Education. Prior to working with Assemblyman Cooley Nestor interned in various Congressional offices in Washington D.C. and Yolo County.
Nestor attended the University of California, Davis and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communications.
